Life Right Now

It’s been two weeks since my life turned insanely busy (seemingly overnight), and I am pretty exhausted. No. Very exhausted. A look into some things I’ve been doing (briefly mentioned in my post here)…

I’ve been working at Everly Clothing a few days a week to help coordinate their upcoming exhibit at WWD Magic (fashion tradeshow). We have 2 weeks left to go, and then we’re off to Las Vegas for a week with a bajillion other exhibitors from around the world. My time at Everly is spent multi-tasking like I’ve never multi-tasked before, and even though I consider myself OCD-organized, it challenges my capabilities to the max. I do love that I make tons of checklists though, because every day, I’ve been checking off boxes like no one’s business. Pictured above right– sneak peek from Everly’s ridiculously beautiful SS14 look book!

A couple Saturdays ago, I freelanced at a wedding with Love & Splendor again. I had a blast with these crazy girls! They are so sweet and kind and hard-working… such a blessing to be able to work with them. 🙂

And finally, I’ve been interning with Bramble Workshop. Here’s a Smilebooth backdrop I helped Jessica make for Method‘s photobooth at Alt Summit. Fringed tons and tons of silver mylar (and cut tons and tons of green fabric), and she sewed it all together. So crazy. Pictured above right– Jessica’s adorable dog Basho models in front of the mylar strips.

Here it is in action! Hopefully someday, I’ll be able to actually attend Alt Summit (in Salt Lake City every year). Photographs above from Say Yes blog’s IG here, and Method’s IG here.

….That’s pretty much it. Of course, I’m still doing my OT work, and I started my weekly Photoshop class. Keeping busy for now, but who knows what next month will bring. 🙂 Taking things one week (sometimes day) at a time.

The end.
